Services of Thanksgiving for Babies
The birth of a child is a time of great celebration, hope and expectation. It can have such an effect on us that it can make us consider something greater and higher than ourselves. This can be a time where we reflect on God and the significance of new life and what the future holds for us all.
Through the Christian faith-based position of Kinglass Ministries, I will help families to express their gratitude to God for the birth of their child and to entrust this new life to Him. I will spend time with you to construct a personal, warm, compassionate Baby Blessing and Naming Ceremony for your family. There will be a focus on the anticipation of all that this life will bring and achieve, on hope for what the future will hold, on prayer for wisdom for all involved in the care of the child and for the role of the wider family community as they love and nurture this child.
The cost of this Service is £100
The death of a baby or child is unthinkable and causes great sorrow, sadness and loss. This could be due to the death of a child before birth or a child being stillborn or sometime during childhood. Kinglass Ministries can provide Emergency Child Blessings, Baby Blessings and Naming Ceremonies, which will be personal, inclusive, meaningful and compassionate. These will be provided sensitively, bringing comfort to the family at the challenging stage of their journey. I will work closely with you and your family to tailor the service to reflect the needs of your family and your beliefs. I will work flexibly with you to identify the most appropriate and meaningful location for this service, to ensure it is somewhere special and of your choosing.
